The general running of a practice is stressful, time-consuming, and hectic at times. This role requires exceptional organisational skills and patience. Luckily, our Palmerston Veterinary Group Practice Manager Sarah Cook has these attributes in abundance.

Sarah joined us in May 2002 as a trainee veterinary nurse after leaving her role as an animal care assistant for the RSPCA. Sarah successfully qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse and quickly moved up the management ladder. Sarah was our head nurse for 11 years before taking on her new role as Practice Manager in December 2017.

Sarah is responsible for the day-to-day administration and organisation of the practice. The administration team process up to 300 insurance claim forms each month. Sarah has an adorable son called William, a cute cocker spaniel called Missy and a cuddly cat called Cookie. In Sarah's free time she enjoys playing netball, horse riding, meeting with friends, going to the cinema, reading and spending quality time with her family.
