Senior Nurse

I was born in Dartford, Kent in 1982. I moved to Enfield to study veterinary nursing at Middlesex University in the year 2000 and graduated in 2004. Shortly after graduating I started at Palmerston veterinary group full time, as a registered qualified veterinary nurse. I have two daughters, Maddie born in 2011 and Olivia Born in 2014. Now part time I enjoy both sides, being a mum and nursing at the hospital.

I have found over the years that being a nurse is a real privilege and caring for all the wonderful animals at Palmerston a real honour. I enjoy helping to train the student nurses and keep my clinical coach active with new students. My home is made complete by our wonderful family dog, Jerry and my beautiful cat Kovu who remains forever in our hearts. My spare time is mostly taken up with the family, but I do love to swim, jog and go for long dog walks where possible.

I also find socialising with friends a great way of relaxing and over the years have been fortunate enough to have worked with many colleagues, who have become very good friends and also built-up good relationships with many pet owners. My future with Palmerston is to ensure that a high standard of patient care is maintained, and all the wonderful patients are treated like our own pets.
