Marcella Chelli-Nuzzo

Marcella Chelli-Nuzzo

Veterinary Surgeon

Marcella graduated as a Veterinary Surgeon in 2008 at the University of Pisa, Italy. After leaving the shadow of the leaning tower she practiced in her native Rome, mainly in emergency care.

After taking a break from the veterinary world to focus on Animal Conservation, working in Florida, Africa and the jungle of Honduras chasing bats, she went back to her original passion and moved to the UK in 2016, where she has been continually working as a Veterinary Surgeon both in the first opinion and emergency practices, starting from South East London and ending up in Essex, where she now lives with her partner, her dog Brillo and her cat Paglietta.

As well as all aspects of Vet Medicine and soft tissue surgery she has a keen interest in Veterinary Physiotherapy, Laser treatment, and chronic pain management. She is currently studying a Diploma in Galen Myotherapy. When not working or studying you can find her camping in the forest or climbing some mountain, reading a good book or at the local pub, and if it's not raining exploring beautiful London.
